Activities planned for Thursday 24 April - the day the Olympic torch will be in Canberra.

ATC is planning non-violent peaceful events in cooperation with Tibetan communities from around Australia. The aim is to highlight the ongoing situation in Tibet and call for the Olympic torch not to pass through Tibet. We want to emphasis that we are not intending to disrupt the torch relay or hinder the torchbearers in any way.

ATC is looking to organise a bus for a day trip to Canberra on April 24. To make the most of the day, the bus will leave at 4.00am from the QVB Building in the city. The cost per person would be $30 for the return trip.
