A Change Of Seasons

我听摇滚的启蒙乐队是枪花

枪花我的前金属时代


之后虽然听了其他很多乐队，但越听越觉得审美疲劳。除了少数名曲，其他重金属的歌总体感觉都是一个味儿。连重金属乐手的那身标志性的皮衣行头都看烦了。动不动就是大体育场带着大家一齐喊，其实和流行歌手又能有多少区别。

重金属旋律和歌词大多以发泄为主，不需要动脑子，虽然说实话人有时候真很需要发泄，但老是处于亢奋状态，时间长了也就麻木了。现在因为数字声音技术越来越发展，许多人做的音乐也越来越重。而且由于是用设备做出来的，而不是人演奏出来的。每一个重音都非常的重，而且非常的精确。这种声音其实不用作，只需要到锻造钢板工厂去采样就行，那个大机器铁疙瘩往下一落，保证震得人撕心裂肺的难受。

当时我还有朋友听像猫王这样的老歌和美国乡村歌曲，但也不对我的胃口，所以我有时候就买一些类似Police或是U2的软摇滚来听。之后一次偶然机会我听到了Pink Floyd的墙，经历了第二次震撼的感觉。关于pink floyd实在有太多可以说。他们已经远远超出了音乐这个范围。无论是在声音技术的探索，表达自己的政治理念，结合电影影像，甚至到舞台设计灯光设计这些细节上，后人都已经很难超越当时他们的辉煌。因为时代已经变了，要想重现当时的文化氛围已经是不可能了。一个摇滚乐队能做到这个份儿上，实在没有再多可以要求。所以当我看到live8上吉他手David Gilmore和原主唱 roger waters因为以前个人恩怨，两个人连看不都不看对方一眼时，总觉得有些可笑。这又何必，两个人都已经是名利双收，年纪也不小了，相逢一笑泯恩仇来个大团圆结局。自己也高兴，乐迷们也跟着高兴。
  
正因为pink floyd我接触到许多同类型的艺术乐队，像yes, king crimson等到今天我也还是很喜欢。而金属乐队只有极少数像aero smith我有时会翻出来听听。让我回归金属的是名字极土，把“梦”和“剧院”两个恶俗组合在一起，叫做Dream Theater的学院派乐队。他们之前就曾有过几张试验专辑，到后来《images or words》中的pull me under让乐队一举成名，将前卫金属正式变成了一个金属的类别。而我第一次听的则是乐队的成熟专辑《awake》，当时确实是被震住了。

传统的写歌方式大概是先有一个主旋律，然后去找个吉他钢琴把整首歌顺下来，跟写文章一样加桥段添枝加叶，配上乐器伴奏。而梦剧院则把人唱给弱化了许多，甚至有些歌人唱反而给人一种陪衬的感觉。因为乐队里的吉他贝斯鼓手键盘，四个人（虽然后来键盘换人）都是准大师的水平，从技术上无可挑剔，而且都有音乐学院深厚的理论基础，所以写歌往往是集体即兴创作。就好像写一个电影，几个牛人确定了角色之后就开始讨论情节发展，有人提出一个小段，另一个人再提出下一个，不断碰撞出的火花，最后等全串起来再加以润色，一个电影就出来了。所以梦剧院的歌不光是长度上比以往的摇滚乐要长，关键是一首歌里面会有几段不同的含义，围绕中心表达不同的内容。再加上复杂的编曲和技术高超的演奏，让人听得有点喘不过气来。

梦剧院最著名的专辑应该是那张《Scenes From A Memory》，一张概念专辑。但我总感觉这张专辑是属于命题作文，反而给人一种连续剧的感觉，有些内容是加进去的。听cd的时候也总忍不住按快进键。现场演唱会的DVD因为剪辑制作不好也给人一种粗糙的感觉。我更喜欢他们的这首同名专辑中的 A Change of Seasons
