去年买的DELLDimension4700终于死掉了。

以前也曾有短暂罢工，经过我的拔拔插插，小样乖乖的听话工作。

这次却不行了。机器无法启动，主板有电，但cpu和硬盘就是起不来。还是老方法，拆了重装。没用。

觉得是电源的毛病。上网查了查，无数的例子。Dell的售后支持人员都直接说电源不好。

30刀买来新电源，机器运行如常。

变态的DELL.就不能做个好的电源？活该裁员10%。

我们家用的是五大三粗的惠普，触摸屏不是一般地讨厌。还有一个gateway，死了两次，幸亏有信用卡延长保修，不然就亏死了。

我的9100前两天死了，好像也是电源的问题。打开看看似乎电源不是标准的。FRY真的买得到吗？
特种兵老大买的是哪一种，30刀就可以搞定？我看PCCLUB之类起码40刀开外，而且插头明显不够。
去FRY要开90迈，实在不想空跑。

in the system recovery disk, there is only a BASIC xp, which does support USB, network, sound, "good" video resolution, .....

so when I helped him to restore, I have to download all the drivers... they are tooo big for his floopy disk drive, so I have to use floopy disk to install usb driver for his laptop, and then, install network driver from the usb drive - just installed by floppy..... then install video and sound... nightmare.

with build-in wireless network adaptor. It's not that old - only two to three years, and the recover disk should be able to restore the machine to be exactly same as the brand new, or it should not be called recover disk.
