Got 61 MPG in a 100 mile trip today.

2005 Prius. Current miles: 36K
Condition: 70-75 degree, no wind, sunny
A/C on

Tips: use cruise control at 55 MPH

Prius的优点好像就不明显了，同样水平价格贵好多。而且柴油车的维护支出明显好于汽油以及混合动力。

That's a good news. If VW can improve it reliability,Golf/Jetta TDI may get some market share.

I also considered TDI before I bought the Prius. But VW's reliability record is kind of poor and over the trend of the company in N. America is worrisome.  

Plus most Jetta and Golf in US market are made in Mexico.

我这边澳洲市场的Golf和Jetta的价格上好像就这样，Golf的原产地是南非，Jetta是墨西哥。照理说同样配置的jetta应该略贵于Golf，但实际上价格一样，销量的话Jetta是远远低于Golf了。

Usually I buy gas at any station where I can find better price. The type of gas doesn't matter in mileage (at least based on my own experience)

老大，另外请教一下，你的Prius开起来手感如何？加速性能、off-road性能大概能达到四驱SUV的多少？安全性如何？有没有什么冲撞试验的视频，拿来共享一下！呵呵。

我一直没机会试试Prius，所以很没有概念，既然已经准备着三十五岁后搞辆环保车来开开了，现在就想多多了解。望步校兄不吝赐教。

另：步校兄是我川人么？看你以前有篇文章说起过新繁泡菜，倍感亲切，呵呵，握一下爪的先！

It can handle everyday use.
It has 76 hp gas engine and 67 hp eclectic motor. The total 133 hp is enough for a 2900 pounds car,  The electric motor has 295 lb.-ft. torque, which is better than most car.

Sure, you don't expect you can zip-zap on the highway, but it is enough for passing on the interstate.

The sheet metal is very thin (like other Toyota), so you should expect it will absorb energy :)


I got all of the safety options in my Prius. The price of these options is pretty good (compared to other Toyota). Here is the list:

Traction control
Skip control

好多人现在都到青城山买农民的房子做别墅，当然不太合法。我老丈母家就曾经买过一栋，几万块，很便宜。不过后来又卖了，说是凉快是凉快，就是太潮，啥东西搁不多久都长毛。这两年据说又涨了不少。
